Lucy found Hawthorn Woods Family Dental after many years of experience working for a well established dental practice. She has a calming effect on her patients and a relaxed approach to a healthy smile. Her caring nature is greatly appreciated by her patients. We all benefit from her kindness!
Mickey

Mickey started her career in dentistry working as a Dental Assistant in Lake Zurich, IL. After 10 years of Dental Assisting, she attended M.A.T.C. in Milwaukee where she graduated with the highest honors in her class as a Dental Hygienist. She has been working at HWFDC as a hygienist since the office opened in 2007. She loves her patients and her patients love her…always laughter coming from her operatory.
Marina

Marina graduated from Dental Hygiene school with honors in 2010 from William Rainey Harper College. Marina served as the VP for the Students for the American Dental Hygiene Association. In 2013 she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Science from National Louis University. Marina is dedicated to making her patients’ feel comfortable while having a positive experience. Patient education is one of her favorite aspects of her career. She enjoys taking the time to talk to her patients and explain their dental health. Marina likes to attend continuing education courses and remains current on new dental research and findings along with volunteering at local schools speaking about Dental Health.
Leeanne

Leeanne has an extensive dental background in and around Lake Zurich and Hawthorn Woods working as a dental assistant and hygiene assistant prior to becoming a Hygienist. She graduated from Harper College. She has a very “soft heart” for all of her patients and will help educate you with your dental needs.

“I have worked with Dr. Edgar as his chairside Dental Assistant for 16 years…9 years in his Chicago office and 7 years in Hawthorn Woods. Eva came to the U.S. from Poland 20 years ago with her husband and two children. She had a degree in Culinary and decided to attend Dental Assisting College in Chicago, IL 2 years after her arrival. She is also certified in Coronal Polishing, Sealants and has assisted in countless implant surgeries, cosmetic procedures and oral surgeries. She has a sincere interest in always making our patients comfortable in every way.
Kinga

Kinga has worked with Dr. Edgar since 1990 at his previous office in Chicago. Years of hands-on clinical and administrative experience as well as formal education has made her a skilled and strategic expert in the dental field. She continuously stays on top of the latest advances in today’s dental industry by attending numerous continuing education seminars.
Kinga is attentive, empathetic, and knowledgeable, a great addition to Hawthorn Woods Family Dental Care in the handling of patients’ care. She also speaks fluent Polish.

Jan has over 20 years of dental front office experience. She has attended numerous patient orientated seminars with the AACD and ADA. Her passion for helping patients will make your visit to our office effortless.

Jody brings 30+ years of dental experience from the Lake Zurich area and Barrington working as a chairside assistant, front desk and lab tech. She has also afforded the opportunity of numerous continuing education and training courses. Jody can help you with understanding your dental benefits while making each and every patient feel right at “home”.
